15. Manipulative

I had the pleasure of experience distress by sitting on ground-zero of a fight that was about to break-out. I'll spare the story so that I wouldn't appear to be taking sides. But from what I heard from their own statements. 1 was trying to manipulate the other into imploding by taunting him with words. the other however, was more resilient, experienced and smarter. Making him more than able counter his provocations and give cunning comebacks which ironically provoked the guy who shot first. Point is, if you were trying to openly provoke someone and can't handle the same provocation used on you. then clearly you're the one in the wrong. Hopefully he'll realize that sooner than later

14. Right to copy

21st century humanity has ran out of stimulus to create something new. We always had a drive for competition but once we win, then what? Ideas run out so we look at previous existing ones. Mix it-up a bit, add a few features of your own which was probably already made somewhere else. Then bam, it's basically yours already. It gets harder to tell an original from a remixed one and this applies to everything. Hopefully we get a stimulus in the future that would give us our passion for innovation once more

13. Keeping-up

Everyone want's to experience the glorious master race that promised us 60 fps. I too dream of this in every waking moment of my life. Living in 13-25 Fps is no way to live at all. But when a game is good you practically don't care anymore and you just enjoy it. Money is needed to attain satisfaction. Funny how that works, since I'm thoroughly satisfied, is what I tell myself every time. I hope my video card holds-up so I can save-up for a war machine.

12. Can-do attitude

I like how I start most of my projects with a can-do attitude. I give it my all for the first few days then suddenly I just run-out of will to do so. I know I can do it, I know how, I just can't seem to keep going on after first contact. It's not me being lazy, believe me it's not. It's just when I sit there and start to do it, I get the feeling of not doing it but doing-it regardless at the same time not. I'm conflicted on whether to do it or not. I did notice however is that when I have to meet someone's expectations or fulfill promises is where I find the most drive to work. But, then again you shouldn't make promises you can't keep. Keep your hopes high and do what you can, when you can, if you can.

11. Ego compensation

Not to contradict myself. But, why are people trying to provoke others on the internet? I know different kinds of people exist and they're just probably one of the less desired that exist. But seriously, are they compensating for something? we will never truly know. One of the better countermeasures I've discovered though is to simply ignore them. Yes I know it's hard. But consider this; it's harder for them since their ego doesn't get fed by your lack of response and therefore deflates. Hoping for a less provoking future.

10. Devoid of Happiness?

There's nothing fun to do these days. Is what I say but what I really meant was; there's nothing fun you can do for cheap these days. You wanna have fun, you gotta be with someone if you want to go cheap. But what if you aren't? You'd look like a total wanker if you decided to "entertain yourself". Key to happiness? Money. Key to money? Working. Key to a sad life? Work you don't like. But fear not as the mere thought of money gives you enough hope to make it through the next payday.

9. Teens these days

I've been interviewing some teens these past few days. Most of the common trait I found in them was that they're either bipolar or they don't know who they are. I'd blame this on the environment but it's more likely the upbringing. Yes bipolar disorder and depression are real, yes they exist and yes they are a problem. But, maybe if they were raised to have a bit more hope this wouldn't be such a big problem. P.S. it's my opinion I'm entitled to say whatever I want as you are entitled not to accept it.

8. Trendsetter

People like to follow trends. Why is that? for something simple as popularity or more complicated like as simply refusing to be left out by time. Why not be the you who liked things for what they are and not when society tells you to like it? I sure that someone will appreciate the old fashioned, dull-colored and the boring conservative look or hobby's that your 'rockin'. Remember if you aren't hurting anyone then why should you care about their opinions. Hopefully this mindset would spread through more people. Except of course if what you do is super-offensive, like depression-inducing levels of offensiveness, but that's another thought.

7. Be Humbled

It's been a long standing paradox for being asked about being humble. You can't say you're humble. Because if you do, then that makes you arrogant. You can't claim that you've been humble your entire life. That statement alone contradicts the virtue of humbleness. You can't say you're humble, you just be humble. Humbleness the one trait you can't boast about and still be it. So next time I hear someone describe themselves as humble, I hope that they know that they notice their own hypocrisy.

6. The internet is the real world. Get over it

You thought that flame wars only existed on the internet, tough luck kid. That's how people communicate in real life. Cursing is a form of language, it shows a persons expression and emphasis leaving the listener an impression. But why do you have to be so salty? There's no need for crass language. Because the more you use it, the more you give the idea to the reader/listener that you aren't educated enough to form a better sentence and therefore easily disproving you. Oh I'm wrong? You have a degree to prove it? A doctorate even? Well why don't you act/speak like it then? I'm not saying you should abstain yourself from disrespecting someone, just be smart/intellectual about it. The only respect you'd get from using crass vocabulary is the same as those who are born with it, nothing. I hope one day for a better smarter future on language. That's just wishful thinking.

5. Heretics

What started out as an interesting interview ended up so badly. Usually my opening questions are used to probe the person. Likes, dislikes, which offensive jokes are viable (most of the time people are sensitive to racist, dark or terrorist jokes) and sexuality (gender, mind you) are some of the topics I use to probe my interviewee. When we touched a similar topic, it was like love at first sight. We were relating to each other, we knew what we meant when we use unfamiliar and sometimes racist phrases. But then I asked him a a question, one which was deep for me. I was baffled by his shallow answer, then I asked why? he simply replied "it doesn't concern me". He basically denied all that we've discussed so far. Have I been living a lie all this time? I just hope people don't follow trends just cause, well, they're trendy. Follow what you like, not what society wants you to like.

4. Who am I?

A new trend/epidemic has caught my attention once more. Interviewing several teenagers brought me results that I didn't think would be possible. Well, considering that I was a teen myself I'm probably being hypocritical here. When asked to describe themselves, they only answered with they don't really know who they are. Who else but yourself would know you better than you? after all, you're the only one who spends full time being you. Either these young'uns are straight up suicidal, refused self exploration or they answered me in this format to appear mysterious therefore increasing their appeal to me (hint: it doesn't). We can only hope that they outgrow these traits.

3. Special Outbreak

Most of the people I met recently keep claiming to be bipolar. They keep using that word like it's the new trend, like how people changed from using ADHD to autism. It really just baffles me that they treat it like it's some sort of uplifting trinket. News flash! it isn't. This is probably because we keep using the word 'special' to describe people with mental disabilities. Apparently it's now back-firing on us since regular people want to be special too. That's equality for you.

2. Lost sheep

I admit, sitting-in on a senior high class wasn't one of the brightest ideas I'll ever have. Not only was it worst than my high school. They seem hell-bent in one-upping against each other on who will break my spirit first. Did I also mention they incurred the wrath of their teacher? not a very smart thing to do. Well they should learn from this experience, especially since it's the second time already. we'll see

1. Future plans for this stunt

Starting a new habit is quite troublesome at first, especially since you don't usually find your social anxiety-filled-self suddenly trying to befriend random strangers. But, it is my choice and you gotta start small if you want something done, else you'll be overwhelmed and just conclude that "I have so much things to do, I know what I'll go with first, nothing". Is what I'm basically going through right now. But, with a bit of impending deadline induced panic, I can somehow find the motivation to start this all.
